In an effort to provide an opportunity for Oakland County school districts to showcase their innovative ideas and students, learn about new ideas, and cultivate conversation between youth and adults on exciting educational concepts. Clarkston Community Schools will be hosting TEDxYouth@Clarkston. More specifically, a group of junior and senior students at Clarkston High School, collectively known as the Thinking Project.

What is TED? TEDx? TEDxYouth?

TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. The TEDx program is a local, self-organized event that brings people together to share a TED experience, with the "x" meaning independently organized TED event. A TEDxYouth conference has youth speakers and in the case of TEDxYouth@Clarkston, is run by youth.
